Vy Barto

Vy serves a dual role as the Director of Development for St. Pius X Catholic School as well as the Director of Stewardship at St. Pius X Catholic Church.  A native of Norfolk, she grew up in the Parochial school system, attending and graduating from St. Pius X Catholic High in Virginia Beach. She graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Business Administration from Old Dominion University with a concentration in Management.

Vy has worked in the Diocese of Richmond since 2015, working with Fr. Prince at Immaculate Conception in Hampton, in the Diocesan Office of Worship, and in the Office of Finance and Real Estate. Vy continues to assist the Diocese with the Building and Renovations Commission (BARC). 

A "Jane of all trades," Vy has a creative flair in design work.  She's a graphic designer and a photographer. She lives in Poquoson with her husband, Tommy, and their dog, Snoop.
